Renting Our Space

Thank you for your interest in partnering with Yoga Mandala for your workshop or event. We very much love this sacred space and are happy to share it with our community. In addition to our beautiful studio spaces, we are also happy to provide additional accommodations at reasonable cost to support your upcoming venture.

Workshop/Event Rental

We have 2 beautiful studios:
Surya has hardwood floors and is decorated in warm oranges, reds and browns and is home to our Nataraj Mandir (non-aagamic Siva temple). Surya is available on Fri. evenings from 7:30pm on, Sat. from 12:30 to 4:30pm and 6pm on, and Sun. from 12pm on. This space is roughly 600 sq/ft.

Soma has a bamboo wood floor and is sanctified by the presence of all our lineage masters. This studio comes equipped with a kitchenette and white board. Soma is available on Sat. and Sun. from 9am on. This space is roughly 1000 sq/ft.

Prices
We ask for a $150-300 refundable security deposit due 1 week prior to date of event.

Advertising & Promotion

Included in Rental Package:

• Distribution to our Yahoo! Group list
• Posting on YM website
• Flier distribution on regular YM flier distribution route

Additional:

• 3-line item mention in Yogi Times 1/2 page print ad* - $100
• 50-character Calendar Listing in Yogi Times* - $15
• Flier production & design - $25/hr

*Info. for ads have to be provided prior to the 15th, 1-2 months before workshop or event.

Front Desk Pre-Registration

Pre-Registration Tracking	$50
Phone & Credit Card Sales	4% of total
Day of: YM staff receiving payment, checking in guests, etc.	$15/hr

insurance

• Performers and lecturers covered under YM insurance
• Guest Yoga teachers must have their own insurance with YM named as additional insured

Misc.

Included in Rental Package:

• Complimentary tea service and water available
• Bottled water for sale to guests for $1.00/bottle
• Studios are equipped with bolsters, blocks, blankets and straps for about 25 students; 18 Yoga mats are available for guest rental - $1/mat
• Surya has a 6 CD stereo sound system
• Soma has a 5 CD/mp3 stereo sound system

Additional:

• Folding Chair Rental (30 chairs) - $100
• Wood Based Lighting Cans + Gels - $35/can

Not Included:
More sophisticated sound systems for performances must be provided by renter

Studio Policies

• No shoes past the front lobbies
• No food or drink (except for bottled water) is allowed inside Surya
• We reserve the right to refuse service and eject anyone who is disruptive or abusive
• Back therapy rooms are off limits to students and guests, but may be used by performers or teachers to rest and change
• A YM representative will be available during your workshop or event should any issues arise.

Process

Have the followng information available:

• Describe your class/workshop/function.
• Provide dates and times you are interested in as well as the cost.
• Give a brief synopsis of your background and qualifications as an instructor/teacher or your group's history.
• Discuss your registration process.

Once your request is received, the Yoga Mandala owners will get together and review it to determine whether your event is the right fit for us and whether we are the right fit for you. You will be notified of our decision within 2 to 3 days.
