of point work, stretching, joint rotation and percussion.
Typically Shiatsu takes place with the client fully

The style most people commonly associate with massage.
Typically includes long gliding strokes, kneading and
percussion, using soft to deep pressure, depending on
the client. Helps to loosen tight muscles and adhesions
in fascia that result from tension, injury and chronic
stress. Often combined with elements of deep tissue
and/or trigger point work.
Tui Na
Therapists: Yoko, Hisako
A Chinese medical massage is used to heal all types
of tendon, ligament, musculo-skeletal and joint injuries
using acupressure points and energy meridians to facilitate
greater mobility and the body's own healing process.
Patients are fully clothed.
Zen Shiatsu
Therapists: Laura
A style of shiatsu developed by Shizuto Masunaga, it
is a choreography of gentle yet invigorating moves,
utilizing rhythmic breathing and stretching, while
addressing the body's meridian lines and acupressure
points. Emphasis is on one-ness and simplicity. Using
yin/yang principles, one hand moves while the other
supports and stabilizes. Techniques include palming,
forearms, elbows, fingers, thumbs, knees, tiger's palm,
and squeezing.
Ayurvedic Mind Counseling
Therapists: Sumanasa
Ayurvedic Mind Counseling is an approach to therapy,
which views the mind as a manifestation of energy,
inseparable from the body. Each session will
seek to harmonize the client’s energy with
the greater cycles of nature by implementing ayurvedic
principles, Tantrik transformational practices
and talk therapy. The client will learn techniques
to uncover and work with their mind’s energy
(and subsequent emotions and behavior) on a moment-to-moment
basis, enabling lasting and integrated results.
Private Yoga Therapy
Therapists: Sumanasa
Private Yoga Therapy assists one in deepening their
yoga practice and may work on specific imbalances
in the body/mind. During each session Sumanasa
will work with the client to custom design a unique
sequence of postures, breathing techniques and/or
meditation practices that one may take home and
practice at their leisure. This therapy aims
to emulate a more classical approach to yoga where
students are taught one-on-one in order to meet
their individual needs.
