Getting Oriented
Whether you are new to yoga or new to our studio (or both!), Yoga Mandala will do its best to help you familiarize yourself with yoga and our studio.

Tips and suggestions
- Please, no shoes in the studio.
- Refrain from eating at least two to three hours before class.
- Dress appropriately – It is best to wear clothing that is comfortable and does not restrict range of motion. Pretty much anything you would wear to the gym will be appropriate.
- Please turn off your cell phone and other electronic devices.
- Notify teachers of injuries, medical conditions, current menstrual cycles at the beginning of class.
- Arrive 10-15 minutes early for class to allow time to sign in and settle down.
- Please sign up online to ensure quick registration.
- There are spacious restrooms with disability access, no dedicated changing rooms, no lockers. Storage shelves are inside the yoga studio to use for your belongings during class.
- Bring your own mat; Yoga Mandala rents mats for $1/class. Some classes incorporate blocks, blankets, and belts which are free and provided for use during class.
- If you tend to perspire, please bring a small towel.
