During six one-hour sessions an experienced instructor will introduce you to some of the basics of Hatha Yoga.
- Learn fundamental postures and the principles that will allow you to safely enter many others.
- Experience basic Yogic breathing and meditation techniques.
- Gain flexibility, strength and coordination.
- Get a brief and concise understanding of the foundational philosophy.
- Comfortable environment and small class size in the company of other beginning students.
- Feel confident and prepared to attend drop-in classes.

This series is perfect for beginners to yoga, on-going students who want to brush up on the basics, students new to the studio, or those who may have taken a long break from yoga practice.
How do I register? Top
The Intro to Yoga Series runs on a regular basis. See the upcoming schedule. You may register in person, over the phone or on our website.
How do I prepare? Top
Advance registration is recommended. Show up at least ten minutes early for the first session. Wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move in. You can bring your own Yoga mat or use a studio rental mat. Do not eat for at least two hours before class.
